About the Role
Are you a highly organised, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy delivering a great service whilst making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes? If so, The Chef Tree has an exciting opportunity for you! We’re looking for a talented Office Administrator to join our remote team and support our growing business.
Main Duties
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our administration and finance processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering phone calls and providing exceptional support to clients, chefs, and suppliers.
- Processing timesheets and handling payroll procedures efficiently.
- Managing AWR (Agency Worker Regulations) compliance.
- Handling DBS-related tasks and monitoring as needed.
- Actioning renewals and ensuring compliance forms are up-to-date.
- Managing multiple inboxes and ensuring timely responses.
- Chasing payments and overseeing the sales ledger.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for clients and chefs.
- Providing on-call support, including out-of-hours assistance shared with the rest of the team (we offer on-call support to our Chefs and Clients 365 days a year)
- Carrying out general administrative tasks to support the team’s success.
Qualifications
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- The ability to build and maintain relationships with clients via phone and email.
- A keen eye for detail and excellent administrative skills.
- Competent numeracy skills for payroll and sales ledger management.
- The ability to work to deadlines and thrive under pressure.
- Self-motivation and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and remote collaboration tools.
Skills
- Minimum of 2 years in an administration role
- Minimum of a C in GCSE maths
- Excellent Microsoft Excel Skills
