what A Quiet Place: Day 1 About?
Day 1 Set in one of the noisiest places on Earth: New York City. What happens when a noise-sensitive alien crash-lands in the city that never sleeps? Panic! That’s the premise of this post-apocalyptic Alien prequel.
The story follows Sam (Nyong’o), a hospice patient suffering from an incurable disease who reluctantly agrees to travel to Manhattan only to find herself stranded there when terrifying aliens take over the city. As Sam and her service cat, Frodo, survive the alien invasion, they attract the attention of a young law student, Eric (Quinn). The odd couple (and cat) journey through the alien-infested city, where their only hope of survival is to remain absolutely silent.

teeth A Quiet Place: Day 1 Worth watching?
Look, a prequel is hard to make well, and it’s bound to attract criticism. The film received an 86% critic rating and a 73% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes. A Quiet Place: Day 1 That was almost right.
Mashable’s film editor Christy Puchko finds parts of the film compelling, praising Nyong’o and Quinn’s “captivating screen presence,” but feels that “the love story at its heart fails to shine amid the carnage and urban devastation promised by the first part.” In other words, the film as a whole isn’t quite the sum of its parts.
However, many people thought the prequel wasn’t bad, as it received mostly positive critical reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. The best thing about movies is that everyone can have their own opinion. Incidentally, even horror master Stephen King spoke in favor of the movie.
