About the Role
360work are hiring a Full Stack Architect to join our client based in Manchester. The company is in developing cutting-edge AI solutions by leveraging algorithms and machine learning models to enhance image recognition, analysis, and real-time processing capabilities.
As a Full Stack Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable full stack frameworks and web portals for our client. You will leverage your expertise in both front-end and back-end development to create intuitive user interfaces and robust server-side components. Experience with cloud technologies will be an advantage as you integrate cloud services to optimise performance, scalability, and reliability. You will be part of the Engineering team and you will work closely with the product owner and AI/ML technical leads.
Main Duties
- Lead the design and development of full stack frameworks and web portals from concept to deployment.
- Architect scalable and reliable frontend and backend systems that meet business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, designers, developers) to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Implement best practices in software development, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness.
- Integrate cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to support scalability and reliability requirements.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in full stack development and cloud computing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (6+ years) as a Senior Full Stack Developer or Architect
- Good knowledge of web frameworks, such as React.js, Node.js, Next.js
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Expertise in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or .NET.
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and experience in deploying applications to cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and serverless computing.
- Experience with software development version control (github, etc) and engineering principles
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Docker, GCP services (Cloud Run, compute engine, etc) or AWS services (AWS amplify, AWS App runner)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
