As a Customer Service Representative with us, you’ll play a pivotal role in responding to and managing all incoming enquiries via channels prescribed by the business (phone/website/WhatsApp/Live chat etc.) These will come from a variety of sources -prospective patients, existing patients, healthcare professionals and external organisations. Main Duties
- Be confident communicating with potential patients through different media.
- Liaise with key points of contact within the GenesisCare network to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our services.
- Gather data relevant to enquiries and track outcomes in accordance with GDPR regulations and internal systems.
- Signpost and liaise with external agencies providing patient services.
- Data capture: accurately capture and record all enquiries, flagging those that require a suitable follow up task within the team with a view to answering questions/concerns and completing bookings.
- Deliver a confident and knowledgeable response to potential patients who need guidance on cancer pathways and our clinical teams.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the patient’s experience with a focus on continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience in working within a fast-paced Contact Centre environment.
- Competent with a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel and Teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within the Patient Care Coordination team, wider business, healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.
- Energetic and passionate, you should be a self-starter, solutions orientated individual.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Strong organisational and documentation skills maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ability to learn and retain a vast array of information
- Comfortable interacting with enquiries via their chosen channel
- Confident in engaging with patients to ensure their enquiry is satisfied
Qualifications and Knowledge (desirable, not essential):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in oncology.
- Strong knowledge of cancer treatment and patient care.

We are looking for care workers to join our team as drivers, providing care for clients in their own homes. Pool car provided where available and authorised.
