Position: Community Care Worker
Salary: £12.70 per hour
Job Type: Full Time
Location: East Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK
About the Role
You will care for our clients in their own homes assisting with personal washing, dressing/undressing, providing snacks and refreshments, and prompt/administering medication. You will use approved equipment such as hoists or slide sheets to assist clients and provide practical support such as light cleaning, shopping and washing.
Most importantly, you will encourage and promote their independence and choice whilst upholding their rights and dignity.
You must be available between 7am and 11pm and fulfil a minimum of 40 hours a week.
To provide adequate care for our clients, you should be available to complete a full shift. Please note this role requires you to be available to work weekday and weekend shifts. Your full-time contract will consist of day and evening shifts.
Qualifications
- UK Driving License (paper & card part)
- 6 months care experience
- Currently reside in Northern Ireland and provide proof of N.I. address
- IELTS Certificate, minimum score 4.0 or CEFR certificate minimum level B1
- Access to a car for work purposes
- A complete application form with full employment history since leaving school
