Salary: £13 to £15 an hour

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised admin person to join our team in an accounts and admin role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining managing accounts payable, managing outgoing invoices and payments, assisting with HR duties as well as other general admin roles within the company.
Main Duties
- Issue client invoices
- Setup new accounts on Xero
- Bank reconciliation on Xero
- Ensure everything is ready for the bookkeeper to process to prepare VAT submissions
- Process accounts payable, including verifying invoices and preparing payments.
- Chase unpaid invoices
- Ensure compliance with internal company processes
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new employees, keeping track of employee holidays, preparing payroll, sales commissions and maintaining personnel records.
- Organise internal company events
- Keeping track of contracts with suppliers
The job will be 20 hours per week during UK working hours. We can be flexible on the working days/times.
Qualifications
- Experience in accounts and admin essential
- Knowledge of Xero and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem solver with initiative
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
